
Supported Software
We regularly work with a wide range of software applications. If you are planning on sending us a file, it may help to look at the list below. If your application is not listed, please call us so we can make sure your project is handled according to our high standards.
We recommend using one the following software applications:
Other programs can be used as long as they have the ability to convert your file to PDF. See the guide below for the correct export settings. If you ever have trouble with getting a file ready for print, please contact us! Our team of designers can help you make sure that your files are ready for production.
Export Settings
For Illustrator and InDesign files, please add at least 1/8th in (0.125 in) bleed in the Document Settings. Make sure that any images or background elements extend to or past the red bleed line. Please see our "Supported File Formats" page for more information.
Illustrator
File>Save as...>Adobe PDF>Turn on "Trim Marks" and "Use Document Bleed Settings" under Marks and Bleeds.
InDesign
File>Export...>Adobe PDF (Print)>Turn on "Trim Marks" and "Use Document Bleed Settings" under Marks and Bleeds.
Microsoft Word
File>Save As Adobe PDF OR File>Export>Save as Adobe PDF
Canva
Share>Download>Change File type to "PDF Print">Turn on "Crop marks and bleed". If you have Canva Pro, you can change the "Color Profile" to CMYK for printing. Don't worry if you don't though! We can convert the colors through our programs as well.
