Printing Tips/Definitions

Number of Originals/Pages: This is how many pages are in your PDF document you want printed. Not the number of attachments. Example: (1) PDF has (8) pages = Number of Originals/Pages: 8. 

Divide: Need various quantities of copies for each teacher? Skip the Copies section and your quantity request here. Note we will not divide copies less than 25 or for the entire school.

Example: (5) teachers in my department; each has (25) students = 5 sets of 25 OR
Various number of students in each class list = Teacher A: 25; Teacher B: 15; Teacher C 30; Teacher D 50
Please have fewer than 7 sets with quantiies of 30 or more copies. We will NOT seperate 37 sets of 20 each

Charge Back: The following will be charged back to your school’s printing account: color copies, cardstock, colored paper, oversized paper, posters, spiral & comb bindings, chipboard, & plastic covers.

Scrap Paper Tax: The backside of the paper has various tax document information printed on it and may have a micro-perforation.

Scrap Paper Plain: The backside of the paper is recycled from all of the K-12 schools. If you are worried about its content; choose Tax Scrap.

Mini Books: Several pages of 8.5"x11" SCRAP paper, stapled on left side; cut in half.

Booklets: Several pages of 8.5"x11" paper folded into an 8.5"x5.5" book and stapled in the center of the page.
Several pages of 11"x17" paper folded into an 11"x8.5" book and stapled in the center of the page.

Bound Planners: Several pages of 8.5"x11" paper bound on one side with a comb or spiral. It may have a plastic or cardstock cover with a chipboard back. Please allow extra time since all of the binding is done by hand.

Folding: We can only fold a single sheetof paper; we are not able to collate and fold several sheets together. Our capabiltities of folding are  8.5x" x11"  to 11" x 17" paper. Cardstock is not available.

Acceptable File Formats: PDF, JPG, EPS, PNG. NOT Acceptable: Pages

How to make a PDF: All Apps have this function.Making a PDF guarantees the text prints as you requested. You have (2) ways to make a PDF; the method varies depending on the application. Check to see which will work for your specific application.

Variation 1:
1. Select “File” from the Menu Bar
2. Select “Download” “PDF document (.PDF)” or “Save as Adobe PDF”
4. The application will create the PDF
5. It it saved to the Download File on your computer.

Variation 2:
1. Select the “Print” from the Menu Bar
2. Change your Destination/Printer to “Save as PDF” or “Adobe PDF”
3. Select “Save” or “Print”
4. A Pop-up will appear asking where you want to save it.
5. Select your destination.

Acceptable Layouts:
Please have your PDF/Paper Originals that are smaller that 8.5"x11" only (1) image on a page.

Example Page 1 has Image A and Image A, next page Image B and Image B, etc.
NOT ACCEPTABLE Page 1: Has Image A and Image B., Page 2 Image C and Image D
