File/Media Formats

As you can imagine, there are thousands of computer applications in use around the world. These applications each save their files in a certain way. This is called a file type or file format. For example, Microsoft Word can save your work as a ".doc", or even a ".txt" file. Below are our supported file formats: .qxd .jpg .tif .psd .bmp .pdf .eps .ai .indd .txt .doc .xls .pub .sit .zip Digital art and scans should be in either jpeg, tif, eps or pdf formats. Digital art and scans should have a resolution of 300 dpi at placement size in the publication. When submitting a file please be sure to include all used fonts and artwork. PDF files can be accepted for copies or printing. If using more than one color for print a high resolution pdf file of each color separation is required.
