How To Place An Order

Note:

Mac users must be running OS 8.6 or higher.

PageMaker users must be using version 6.5 or later.

Overview:
The process to place an order and send us a file starts by opening that file on your computer.

Steps to send us a file and submit an order:

1. open file
2. select File/Print from within your file's application
3. choose our generic PDF Driver, UGP-Copy
   Note: it is best to choose DRIVER NAME when you create a new document. As with any change in print drivers, reconfiguring your document from a previous printer to a new one can possibly cause font substitution or word wrapping.
4. click on "Print" or "OK".
   This will automatically open your browser (95/98/ME). If your operating system is Windows2000 you will have to open your browser manually. You will be asked to choose an order form.
5. choose order form and fill out
6. click on "Send" near the end of the order form to send us your file

After your file is sent, you will get a confirmation screen with a job number. You can immediatly click on the "My Jobs" tab, and then "My Jobs Sent" on the next screen. Now click on your job number. This will bring up a screen with a button to view a proof (soft proof) of your job. Click on the "Accept" button to approve your proof if everything is as you expected. If something is not as you planned, click on the "Reject" button. You can now fix any problems and resubmit your file. Once you accept this proof we will start production of your job.

If you can not view your proof immediately, you will also be receiving an email with a link to the proof of your file. Click on this link or paste it into your browser.

Your proof must be approved by you before we can produce your job and it will be produced to look like the proof you have appoved. If you submit a job with errors, we will faithfully reproduce your errors.

To make this process work, you must do a one-time installation of two small applications:

• Launch (automatic FTP and compression software)
• our generic PDF driver
