Presentation Bond Paper - Economical medium weight presentation paper with inkjet receptive coating. Ideal for presentations, poster sessions, CAD drawings, and any kind of large format print where cost is a factor. Photos Print with good color and clarity. Solid colors will lose some vibrance on this paper.
Satin Photo Paper - Great results with every print. Designed for maximum ink absorption, this photo paper includes a microporous surface that enables higher ink density, speeds dry time and achieves vibrant, long lasting color. Satin Photo Paper features exceptional overall print quality, sharp images, true vibrant colors, as well as superior fade resistance.
Polypropylene "Poly" Paper - Wide-format roll media features an indoor, sunlight-exposed permanence rating of six months, making it ideal for banners, displays and posters. Vibrant, eye-catching color printing ensures high-impact, attention-grabbing results. Poly paper is a durable, tear-resistant film approved for inddor and outdoor use.
Recycled Bond Paper - Made of 100% recycled base paper from post-consumer waste papers. This chlorine-free, light-weight paper has a natural white finish without added Optical Brightener Agents. This is a special use paper and is not appropriate for every job. Not available for prints with heavy ink coverage.
Vinyl Banners - Durable, weather-resistant custom vinyl banners are great for outdoor or indoor use. Vinyl banners are versatile, weather-resistant, and long-lasting. Vinyl is ideal for club banners and event signage. They can be re-used multiple times compared to paper banners, and are perfect for signage that does not change from year to year. Vinyl banners are printed in custom sizes, full color, and come with grommets for hanging. There is a 3-5 day turnaround for vinyl.
Backlit Film - If you are looking for a material to display in a light box or you would like window graphics that stand out at night, then Backlit Film may be a good material choice. Backlit Film is a semi-translucent material that is designed to catch and distribute light when directly lit from behind. This adds more depth to the graphics and allows the design to be visible both night and day. The unique ability for Backlit Film great for backlit light boxes and window applications such as lighted signs, menus, and building directories.
We offer several finishing options to enhance the presentation of your poster prints.
Foamboard Mounting -
Laminating - We can laminate with 3mil and 5mil. Please allow for longer lead times for 5mil and for posters larger than 24" x 24".
Note: Lamination is not recommended for all posters - depending on the paper choice and the amount of ink coverage, some prints do not laminate well. We will let you know if we feel there is a concern.
Grommets -These are included on all vinyl banners and signs. They are available upon request for all other poster prints.
• PDF files are the preferred format.
• Please convert fonts to outlines and flatten your files.
• For best results, set the page size of your file to be the actual output size of the poster.
• Low-resolution graphics will print at very poor quality when enlarged to poster sizes.
• When designing artwork for print, use CMYK colors instead of RGB. This will help make sure your colors print the way you expect them to.
• Be sure to design according to the UA Branding Guidelines. We are prohibited from printing posters with misuse of the University's logos, trademarks, and images.

A. We recommend a maximum of 40" for the shortest edge, and a maximum of 150" for the longest edge.

Q. Where is Fast Design?
A. We are adjacent to Fast Copy, located on ground level at the Student Union Memorial Center, 1303 E. University Blvd.
Q. Where can I park?
A. Parking on campus is extremely limited when classes are in session. If you're lucky, there are three 20-minute parking spots on Mountain and 2nd Street. Otherwise, there is pay parking in the 2nd Street Garage across the street.
Q. Can I take the streetcar?
A. Yes! The Student Union is on the SunLink streetcar route! Get off at the Highland stop on 2nd Street and walk a short distance to the Union.
