For retail exhibitors at any trade show, the challenge is to drive attendees into the booth or display area and to then qualify the attendee. Our Motorsports client was able to increase traffic flow to their booth at the local Sports Show by mailing a numbered invitation to a database of motor sports vehicle owners. Show attendees came to the booth to check the number on the invitation against a chance to win prizes valued as high as $10,000. Since the value of the larger prizes was insured, the Motorsports client had very little risk exposure in the case of a Grand Prize winner.
Traffic counts at the booth were up significantly over previous events. Attendees were identified by the name and address on their numbered mailer and cross-checked for vehicle make and model ownership prior to a follow up mail and telemarketing campaign.
