For those who like more details on Windows NT, 2000 and XP Administrator Privileges. In most corporate Windows NT4, 2000 or XP Pro environments, you will be working within a restricted account login, and will NOT have Administrator privileges. Windows NT, 2000 or XP Pro users who have NOT been granted access to manage printers should have their MIS department complete the install under Administrator mode. If you try to download and install our print driver and you do NOT have Administrator privileges, you will get an error message (see below, your message may vary). If you press "Details" to get more information, it will indicate an access rights issue (see below, your message may vary). These errors do not occur if you have been granted access to manage printers. However, this type of access level is NOT typical in most corporations.
